| The Bair Island Aquatic Center (BIAC) is pleased to present the Annual Fall Regatta on the beautiful San Mateo Marina Lagoon. Our
regatta marks the end of the USRA
Fall racing season in California and the west coast. We attract a great crowd of rowers and spectators.

Almost 150 crews, from Juniors to Masters, race over a 5,000m course. Through the twists and turns of the lagoon, boats of all sizes compete including: eights, fours, doubles, pairs and singles. Hundreds of spectators come out to support and watch from the main boating area, nearby bridges, and water side docks and decks. The demographic of rowers and spectators tends to be educated and affluent. Tech savvy and innovative, the great majority have wired and mobile access to the internet, own a personal computer and a smart phone.
